5 stars for Lorenza at the front desk- we travel for business 45 plus days a year and she was the best front desk associate we have experienced at a Hilton property. Hilton is very fortunate to have her. The entire staff assisting us at our conference were also top notch. They kept everything clean and moving along beautifully. The housekeeping staff was extremely accommodating. Lots of good restaurants are a short drive. Great experience- especially for a business trip.

After years of visiting relatives in Oro Valley, AZ, and dreaming of staying at this hotel, I was finally able to do so with my husband the first week of the year, and was not disappointed. The rooms are clean and the staff is courteous and very helpful, especially the servers at the pool, which is fantastic. In fact, there are several pools, as well as a great gym with a sauna, and even a hot and cold plunging pool. It wasn’t consistently sunny because of the time of year, but we managed to spend several hours each day catching some rays by the pool. There was only one thing we weren’t keen about: the rooms attach to other rooms through a connecting door. We could hear the conversation, tv, and a few unwelcome noises through that door. I had to sleep with noise canceling headphones playing brown noise to sleep. But overall I highly recommend the El Conquistador. We hope to return again someday for more rest and relaxation!

Had a great time, beautiful place to stay in the mountains with all the amenities you want in a resort. Woke up one morning to a desert pig a couple feet from the door which obviously is very charming. The setting is great, you can be in nature as much as you want. Also saw a bobcat on the trail. Overall amazing experience. I came for a day years ago and was excited to go back and fully explore and you can really do a good couple days in the area. Also had a nice time talking with Angelika at the gift shop and getting local recs, everyone at the property really did a great job at making the experience seamless. Looking forward to coming back in another couple years hopefully.

Love this property! I’ve stayed at this hotel for several years and have stayed in standard rooms, junior suites, and the casitas. The rooms need some love, so I am hoping a renovation is in the pipeline. The beds are the most comfortable of any hotel I’ve been to domestically and internationally. The view here is everything. Waking up to the breathtaking view of the mountain rejuvenates you. The staff are amazing. Lisa at the Front Desk is super attentive and oversaw an upgrade request with hands on support and was very sweet. Our whole family loves the staff at the pool. Joey and Dylan have been taking care of us for years and had the best attitudes- they are fun and service focused. The staff at SpaWell are delightful and absolutely know how to pamper you. This is a great resort for a getaway. We can’t wait to return.

What a beautiful location. The weather was so hot and yet everyone there did not let that get in the way of great customer service. The rooms were small but comfortable. Nice soft beds and pillows. The food was good and the drinks were strong (not my personal preference but that is okay). Was there for the dermatology conference IDS which was well organized and interesting. Would come back for all their free activities that the hotel offers. Very fun.

Wow, this place is nice!! I went there for a conference and the views, landscape and service was exquisite. I didn't get to enjoy any of the amenities, golf, hiking, etc because it was an up and back conference but if I ever just want a Staycation I'll definitely come back...oh and it's not far from the Biosphere2 either. That picture was the view from the parking lot as I left for the evening.

Such a beautiful resort. My wife and I stayed there for a week. So many amenities. Great location. Our room had a mountain view. We drank our coffee each morning watching the sunrise over the mountains.

Beautiful resort. Location and views are unbeatable. Rooms are very comfortable, but could use some updating. Entire property was very clean and well-kept. Very nice gym as a bonus.
